I am a Northern California native and consider it one of the most beautiful places on earth. It's one of the few things John Steinbeck and I share—apart from a love of writing. My life is marked—I hope—by my love for God and people. I have a background in communications and marketing and enjoy freelance writing on the side. Subscribing to a Leslie Knope level of optimism, I approach leadership and life with an "aces in their places" style. I have been on a church staff for over ten years, leading teams and cultivating processes. In that context, I am passionate about both building and building into teams to advance the gospel and support the local church. I consider television a hobby and love salt and vinegar chips almost as much as I love Jesus and His Church. Almost!
